Commander, as a whole, is a lovely format. I have my issues, but all critique must come first from a place of love. The 120 total life to deplete (or 300 cards, or however you want to go about it) encourages engine building and generation of vast amounts of resources to put towards killing your opponents. This makes good games of Commander feel like a race, with players assembling their F1 while careening down the road at 100Kph.
